We partnered with Lila Boyer, CEO and Founder of H.O.P.E / Helping Other People Every Day in successfully training 77 persons with a diversity of substance use and mental health lived experiences, and workforce experience in the 46-hour IC&RC delineated ASAPNYS/NYCB Peer Recovery Professional Foundations standardized curriculum including 30 hr. CCAR Recovery Coaching Academy and 16 hr. Peer Ethics for Ethical Consideration. As a result, we are very pleased with our choice to partner with H.O.P.E. Inc., an ASAPNYS/NYCB approved education and training provider and minority owned small business.
Partnering with H.O.P.E. has significantly enhanced our ability to provide services and supports beyond just training graduates in the ‘Foundations’. Through early and ongoing consultation with H.O.P.E. we were able to further imagine and implement a comprehensive Peer Recovery Professional Development and Wellness Support Workshop Series (PPDW
